- In the next 30 days, read (or listen to the audiobook) one book related to your personal development or business knowledge.
- In the next week conduct an honest review of your network. Look at your contact list, social media accounts and whatever you use to stay in touch with people. What groups or associations are you currently a part of? Are you active or a member in name only? Are there groups you’ve been intending to join? This week take action; be a more active member, be a new member, reach out to people and reconnect, and increase your social media presence especially on LinkedIn. LinkedIn has allowed me to reconnect with people I worked with 25 years ago which has been personally and professionally rewarding.
- Create a positive mantra that you can repeat whenever you find yourself getting into a negative spiral. I have several. When I recognize I am having financial worries I repeat “Money comes to me freely and easily.” When I am worried about how something will turn out I say “Whatever happens it is for my highest good.” These affirmations help me to quiet the negative chatter in my brain and ease my anxiety.
